Collab19 Rise!!!
Collab19 is a DAO initiated by members of the MetaCartel community. It originated from the corona storm and hopes to use DAO to optimize the problems of traditional philanthropy and better help those who need help. However, the fight corona is just the beginning of Collab19. The goal of Collab19 is to reduce the participation cost of DAO, expand DAO to social coordination, and let DAO play a greater social value. As Collab19 said: Voting is the new Like!

Please remember this hat, in the near future, it will spread all over the world!

Ethereum projects have received nearly $25 million in grant money to date
May 2, The Bolck announced a set of data: The ethereum project has received nearly $25 million in total grant money to date. Among the list of donors, the Ethereum Foundation (EF) ranks first, and Aragon with $ 829500 ranked third, ahead of ConsenSys.

Oh, Aragon is really rich😜 wait, did you guys find anything else? Let me tell you something.
In the top three of the list, EF, Consensys are all MolochDAO donors and members, Aragon, what are you waiting for? If you think MolochDAO's donation process isn't succinct enough, then check out the next entry 👇👇👇
Moloch new website lauuch! Three steps to apply for grants

Last Friday (May 8), Moloch downplayed the announcement of their new official website, which reads:
While you were moping around, we were busy revamping our site & streamlining the grant process.
Enter the DAO
Request Funding
Become a Member
It only takes three steps to apply for a grant, and the same goes for donations. How about that, Aragon?🤓

Ethereum 2020 unofficial documentary
On Saturday (May 9), Billy (@ConsenSys@1milliondevs) produced a documentary titled Ethereum 2020 Moon Mission. Here’s the introduction:
I spent many grueling minutes over the course of tonight putting together this documentary from the future. Hope you enjoy.
Filled with plenty of cheesy special effects, but just like the amount of money invested doesn't determine the quality of the film, this is definitely a great documentary, good job Billy!
A sentence-making contest sparked by a poll

Pictured above is a recent ReadyLayerOne poll, and last Thursday (May 7), Eric posted his thoughts on it, stating
"This is like asking people how they plan to commute to work and leaving out the car option."
Eric expresses this survey's disregard for the facts of Ether Square through an analogy.
Jordan Spence responded:
"Oh man there are probably so many good analogies for this."
Eric answered:
"I contemplated 5 diff ones within 1 minute of seeing this."
Thus, an analogy contest kicked off.
Jordan Spence says:
It's like leaving:
-Superman off of a "best superheroes" list
-Beef off of a "best proteins" list
-Mattresses off of a "what do you sleep on" list
Meeseeking says:
"It's like asking Shamwower X what they use to clean off their car when it's wet and giving them a list that doesn't include Shamwow or towels or air, but includes Shamwower X, Tezos Towels, NEAR Tissues, Solana softrags, Celo shims, and Polkadot spongesocks."
DCinvestor.eth | aftab.eth gives its own speculation from the purpose of the polls.
"I am guessing that this survey was only sent to VC bagholders."
RickTGeorge | BuiltOnEthereum.eth says:
Pick which things you like to put in your stomach?
A. Plastic bags
B. Shoe laces
C. Golf balls
D. Pens
Well, while there are still plenty of great sentences, we can't let this issue of Encrypted Intelligence turn into an analogy sentence weekly....
Alex and his jokes
Last Thursday (May 7), Alex told a joke on Social token.
"People: this is slavery!!! Indentured servitude!! Can I buy your kidney??
Me: *carefully explains that I have control over it, it's a public experiment, utility side, few participants...*
People: wait, you have control??? ICO, ICO!! SCAM!!"
To get to my point, my experience is that the scams that people talk about usually fall into two categories.
A real scam.
Something new beyond your perception, something historically transformative.
Stay away from the first scam and embrace the second one before it's too late!
Push-ups for mining

As the MetaCartel-launched Dragon Quest came to a close, so did the push-up challenges that grew out of it. Last Wednesday (May 6), host Kickback announced the results of the second set of challenges.
Pushup challenges cohort 2 is complete! 8/12 (66%) completion. They staked 0.1ETH back in April ($14.3) and their expected payout is 0.15 ETH. ($31.37) with 2x return. They are the true hodlers!
I participated in this challenge, pledged 0.1 ETH ($14.3), returned 0.15 ETH ($31.37), yeah!
Want to take part in a similar challenge? Kickback has opened up new challenges including: sports, cooking, reading, language learning and those interested can go to their Discord to find out more: https://discord.com/invite/h4VZtSy
Etherism
Last Friday (May 8), Hammad perfected another version of Etherism, saying
Ethereum is the computer
DAOs are the OS
DApps are the software
This reminds me of my frequent trips to Zhongguancun in 2003 to save computers, I'll save one for you.

Telegram leads to explosive product push
Last Thursday, Luis Cuende, co-founder of Aragon, picked on telegram
"I tried to avoid using @telegram for work, but too many people in crypto use it more than email.
Now I have dozens of unreplied convos because IM wasn’t made for task management or productivity.
Any @telegram client that acts as an email inbox? Any ideas?"
Didn't you just launch the Telegram DAO campaign last week? 🧐
Okay, back to business, they both recommended a cool product to him: Telefuel

I've been a heavy Telefuel user for a long time, and I can't say enough about it, it's been great!

Peter Pan is out
After a month of retreating and cultivating, Peter Pan finally showed up. Last Thursday (May 7), Peter unveiled his new personal Blog with the first post: Why do people care?
A few hours later, a guy named Matej Nemček retweeted the article and excitedly excerpted a passage from it.
‘next generational‘ blockchains will succeed, I believe it will do so because they will have successfully been patient enough to foster culture, create trust within their community and have found a resonating north star that strikes at the core of everyone in their communities.
Peter replied to him with two letters: If

Typical out of context.......
Machi X DAO: DAO into the music field

Last Tuesday (May 5), Machi X publicly announced Machi X DAO, a collective of artists and patrons, curating and trading digital art.
Create your own Aragon DAO!
Last Tuesday (May 5), Aragon One announced their new plans for an API they are developing so you can fully customize the user interface of Aragon DAO.
I responded as follows:
SO EXCITED, it reminds me of a step forward. Componentization. If each DAO tool makes all functions into independent components, we can use them to build the tool that best suits our needs, perhaps it combines @MolochDAO, @AragonProject, @daostack, @joincolony... maybe cool!
DAO Caller's Monthly Meeting
Last Thursday (May 7), Peter Pan announced plans for a monthly meeting of DAO callers, which is designed to allow DAO callers to share questions with the community and get broader feedback through an open format. Whether it's for summoners, DAO participants, or DAO hobbyists, this is definitely an invaluable opportunity for those interested to keep an eye on!
Hands on, you can start a MolochDAO
Last Thursday (May 7), Ryan Sean Adams @Bankless posted Bankless' latest article, "How to start a MolochDAO," where Ryan introduces that the heart of DAO is coordination, aligning financial capital and social capital around the common goals of DAO.
What do DAOs do?
Coordinate!
They coordinate capital & community around shared goals
DAO is not the future, it's the present
Last Friday (May 8), Aragon posted a case study article on @BrightIDProject in which he said:
DAOs aren’t the future — they are already the present!
meme
MakerDAO joins forces with Vault Holder to defend DAI
Last Wednesday (May 6), DavidHoffman.eth posted a meme he made about MakerDAO.

David explained:
Here’s a @MakerDAO meme I made because clearly people still need help understanding how MakerDAO works
A guy named Alex Gausman felt that David's meme wasn't quite as accurate, and added a little something new.

Well, it's perfect now!
WBTC
This meme is still aiming at Maker, and last Monday (May 4), MakerDAO's Mariano Conti made a meme.

santi.eth asked:
Is there expectation for growth in the share of the btc collaterals?
Mariano Conti gave an answer that was completely inconsistent with the meme's atmosphere.
WBTC Debt Ceiling is 10M, but that's also the total amount of WBTC in existence so I don't expect it to grow that much.
Other BTCs on Ethereum are being discussed by the Community, but nothing new to report yet.
I expect ETH will always be main collateral.
